We look into each other's eyes,
You look beyond me
And I look into you.

Just shy of the afternoon,
Sitting as far as the
Evening rays can touch

We sit, ruminate; dreams,
Play with our fingers,
And then we smile

All I ever wanted was a place in your dreams

The ones you dreamed night and day
Then, all I got were your nightmares.
How many seasons more in the rain, my love,
Before you wash yourself off my pain.

The world sees a fool in me
But I am happy where I am
Not like you, the bloom
That doesn’t know its colour

Too many times have I wiped your tears,
Only to have my fingers burned by its lies
How many times have I looked at you, my love,
Only to be fooled by your autumn grace

So stop looking back at me
These seasons in the sun won't wait for us
And where you’re going, my love,
You wouldn’t need me there anymore

Don’t know if it's true,
Whether I am lying or dying,
All these pictures on the walls broken,
With me in each one of them
Just tell me if I am alive or am I dying.

These paths don't seem to cross,
The light don't seem to kill the darkness.
But I am in with you here, forever lost,
The mirror only reflect a shadow of the one I knew
The one I don't miss anymore.
The life so broken is everywhere,
Can’t seem to untangle you anymore.
Just tell me if I am lying or am I dying.

I don't like the look of you anymore
That sly smile you beam
When I look at you in the mirror.
28 years of abuses and excuses
All that is left, the picture of my father
With 20 years more.
And I just don't know whom I writing this for anymore.
Just tell me if I am lying or am I dying.

To Myself:

All the gold in the kingdom
And all the king ever wanted,

Was a grain of sand,
His only possession.
